Application Process
We are thrilled that you desire to be a part of The Mission Academy family! Please review the steps below to familiarize yourself with our application process. To begin the application process, simply complete our online inquiry form by clicking the "Get Started" button on this page. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to call the school office at 251-359-4086.
Step 1 - Inquiry
Click "Get Started" anywhere on our website to complete an inquiry form. Upon receiving your inquiry form, the school office will send you instructions with a link to the application.
Step 2 - Application
After submitting an inquiry, you will be sent an online application. The first step is to complete this online application for each child to gather additional information about your child and your family.
Step 3 - Family Interview & Academic Records
Our personal interviews with school leadership are an essential part of the admissions process, during which all parties will have the opportunity to learn if TMA is the best partner for your educational goals. The interview includes a tour of campus facilities and provides an opportunity to better understand your student's individual needs. We request a copy of his/her most recent report card, transcript, and/or achievement testing results. These will be copied and digitally scanned when you come. We also accept written references from previously attended preschools and schools, as well as from church leadership.
Step 4 - Placement Exam
After reviewing academic records and meeting with your child, the school administration will determine if it is necessary to complete additional grade placement exams. This will be coordinated with parents via our placement exam form.
Step 5 - Decision & Contract
You will receive an enrollment decision from the school office, as well as an enrollment agreement upon acceptance. Any remaining requirements such as health examination forms, immunization records, birth certificates, and verification of legal guardianship will be sent to you prior to the start of the new school year.
